We just returned from Southern California. Katelyn was dropped off at LAX for her flight to Salt Lake City. Chandler and Sabrina will follow on Sunday. Sabrina via Delta Airlines and Chandler via Dan and Cassia Nielsen's SUV. The rest of us are home and really miss the rest of the family, but we will do all we can to hold down "the fort".

Elder Chandler Stone and Sister Katelyn Stone Receive Mission Calls

On July 30, 2009, with family watching or listening over cell phones, Chandler opened his mission call up at Northstar. He has been called to the Guatemala City South Mission. He will report to the Missionary Training Center in Provo on Wednesday October 28, 2009. Chandler will serve for two years.

On August 5, 2009 Katelyn received her mission call in the mail. Because we were planning on gathering at "The Beach House" for the annual Blake & Mamone family reunion, Katelyn decided to wait until we gathered on August 7, 2009 to open her call. With a similar scenario to Chandler, Katelyn opened her mission call. She has been called to serve in the Rochester, New York Mission. She has been assigned to serve in the Hill Cumorah Visitors' Center located in Palmyra, New York. Katelyn will serve for 18 months.

We are all very excited for Chandler and Katelyn and know that they will both be wonderful missionaries!
